Tiago Beowulf began training in São Paulo in 2003. He earned black belts in Muay Thai and kickboxing, competed across Brazil’s toughest circuits, remained unbeaten for seven years, won national titles, became the country’s top-ranked heavyweight, and challenged for a world title in Europe.
But competition was only the beginning
To expand his understanding of striking, Tiago traveled to the Netherlands to train at Golden Glory. He later continued his development in Denver and at American Kickboxing Academy in California, sharpening his approach to distance, timing, pressure, and technical execution alongside world-class coaches and athletes.
Tiago spent four years as Head Coach at Strategy MMA in New Jersey, leading classes, developing fighters, managing training camps, and helping athletes reach championship level.
His work extended beyond competition, coaching complete beginners, recreational students, and professionals through the same foundation: proper technique, intelligent progression, and consistent development.
That experience shaped the next chapter of his career.
